We contribute to various CSI projects during the year including training of unemployed individuals, building assistance, financial support and local community projects. We have a longstanding relationship with The Field Band Foundation in terms of which we assist financially and donate employee time for management purposes. In 2008 we extended our support to a Gauteng Education Department initiative –‘Ikusasa Lami’ - providing job shadowing opportunities to 20 learners, and have more recently committed to financially assist Cotlands, CANSA and an AIDS orphanage. In addition the Group divisions manage individual CSI budgets, championed by the respective managers. They concentrate their CSI spend on local/regional projects to uplift the communities within which they operate. |
